People don't realize how close they are to having what they want...

The fact is, that there’s a lot of really confusing and contradicting information out there about what to do with badly behaved dogs. People arguing over methods, training techniques, and equipment... breeders vs rescues, raw food vs kibble, nature vs nurture...

And it’s not just the dog’s who are suffering in the meantime... it’s their people.

My dog education and business were developed because I, too, felt like I couldn’t find the answers I needed to make my life better with my dog. I, too, had the insatiable, tyrant of a puppy who humiliated me daily with outrageous behavior. I walked my dog at peculiar hours so not to encounter any other life form that may trigger her obnoxious leash reactivity... her Cujo style, hind leg walking, teeth barring, lunging, choking, hang on for dear life kind of shit. I’ve lived the destruction, the separation anxiety, the aggression and the isolation that comes with managing all of that.

I’ve been there. It sucks.

I’ve been in that place where I believed that getting my dog was the biggest mistake I could have possibly made. That place where I truly felt like no one could help me. Ironically, it’s why I became a dog trainer. The same path to finding the answers I needed, also lead me to realizing a passion not only for dogs, but for their people and teaching, too. I always knew I loved dogs, but I didn’t know much I loved being an educator.

I also didn’t know how easy it actually was to have a phenomenal dog. And how transformative and empowering it feels to create that dog.

And so here’s what I want to do...

I want to help people get it right.

Here, you’ll find tons of free content. A lot of it will probably be what other trainer’s aren’t saying. A lot of it will be the exact opposite of what you’ve heard before. Expect huge perspective shifts. Even if you just catch on to the mindset of the things I’m writing or talking about, you’ll start experiencing the changes I’m saying are possible.

But if you really want to change your life, let’s have a conversation.

The way you’re existing with your dog - feeling trapped, having lost all flexibility to be away from the house or travel (alone OR with your dog), feeling like your world is closing in on you because your dog is too embarrassing or out of control to go anywhere, fighting with your family over trying to manage all of these unnerving behavioral issues - all these things that have become your accepted “norm”... don’t have to be. And you know what else? It doesn’t have to take forever to get there either.

Remember your vision when you first found your dog. Whether he was a baby in a whelping box at the breeder you tirelessly searched out, the dog your kid dumped on you because he couldn’t keep him in his dorm room, or that little lost soul you found by accident on Craig’s list... It doesn’t matter how it all started, or what went wrong. We can get it right now.

I’ll tell you what... that dog who challenged me so desperately as a baby went on to be the greatest dog I will ever know.
